WM
Capture – update 10002 D3D mode
recommendations 1.
Before
beginning to record movies or videos, click Mark to confirm that recording
window size and position are correct. 2.
For
game recordings, use Fullscreen mode or the game's specified screen
resolution if it is known. Before recording, click the Game mode button. After completing a game recording, if you wish to record
movies or videos, select Window mode, then navigate to Options, Additional
Settings and Details, and restore the appropriate video and audio
configurations. 3.
On
Intel only computers (no NVIDIA driver) try to always use the QSV-GPU encoder
instead of QSV. 4.
On
dual Intel/NVIDIA computer it is important to read our suggestions for the NVIDIA
Control panel setup hints before running a test or recording. 5.
Using
a high frame rate on a video size window above HD (1080) causes the Chrome
browser to reduce video quality if the CPU usage goes beyond 50%. To prevent
this, reduce the frame rate (such as 25), select only the video playback
window (instead of the whole screen), or change your display resolution to a
lower resolution using Windows Display settings. 6.
Some
Windows audio drivers output audio at reduced levels during recording. Test
the audio before beginning your recording session and use the audioBoost
setting to adjust volume. 7.
When
recording movies and videos use the Small information panel to show some of
the recording details: recording duration and elapsed time, frame rate setup,
recorded file size and computer CPU loading. 8.
File
name is automatically set up as: WMC_year.month.day.hour.minute. A different
name can be used without using the video format extension. Similar name will
not be overwritten.
